Get into the Christmas spirit on Wednesday 19th November, as Blossom celebrates the switching on of the Marylebone High Street Christmas lights.

London’s hip family private members’ club Maggie & Rose will be launching their first books (the same story in two volumes); one told by girls Maggie & Rose, and the other by Oscar and his dog Bentley. Wonderfully illustrated throughout by Mr Z, these books are the first of a series and sure to become a collectable.

Mr Z will be signing the new Maggie & Rose books at Blossom Mother and Child on Wednesday 19th November and rumour has it Bentley may be making a guest appearance! There will also be a charity lucky dip, with all proceeds going to the Starlight children’s foundation. Prizes include a one-year membership to Maggie & Rose, Clements Ribeiro for Blossom baby tees, a set of the new Maggie & Rose books and many other goodies.

This popular Saturday market is setting up a special ‘Christmas Lights Market’ to join in with all the festivities on the night of the switch on.

THOMPSON’S GALLERY

Each year the event organisers, The Howard de Walden Esate run a competition for the schools to design a Christmas Card.

The two winning cards are professionally produced and used as the Estate’s coorporate Christmas Card and the winners are announced on the stage before the switch-on.

There are hundreds of entries for this competition and Thompson’s Gallery, also involved in the judging, kindly put on a display of all the entries in the shop on the night of the event.
