James Taylor & Son specialise in making boots and shoes by hand to measure for ladies and gentlemen. Their workshops are on the premises which were built in 1790.The first occupant was a shoemaker called Robert Bell. Comfort is the primary concern followed by design.
Shoes can also be repaired and there are also ready made comfort shoes in store.
The place is dedicated to keeping people on their feet and a visit is always worthwhile.
