A favourite with mothers, fathers and kids alike, classic French clothing label Petit Bateau was founded in the 1930's by Pierre Valton and can be credited with, if not inventing, at least popularising the famously French Breton stripe. While most famous for its tees and underwear made purely from cotton, it does a wonderful sideline in accessories . Its baby clothes are beautiful and its soft toys are not to be missed.
