Margaret Howell

British designer Margaret Howell began by designing men’s shirts from her kitchen table in 1972, and has since garnered a loyal following for her minimalist designs and quality fabrics—many of which are made by artisan craftspeople in the UK. Her signature principles are quality, simplicity and timelessness, evident in perfectly formed staples such as white cotton shirts, tweed jackets and gabardine raincoats. This flagship store also showcases Margaret’s wider interest in great British design, including Robert Welch cutlery, Anglepoise lamps and Ercol furniture.
