One Year On: The Royal Drawing School Foundation 2019-20

32-34 New Cavendish Street exhibits the work of The Royal Drawing School’s 2019-20 students.

Due to the unforeseen circumstances of 2020, the 2019-20 foundation students of The Royal Drawing School were forced to complete their final term at home, and like everything last summer, their closing exhibition was cancelled. ‘The End of Year Exhibition’, a culmination of works made during the third term, was instead showcased online

This summer, their work is being exhibited in Marylebone Village in a show named ‘One Year On: The Royal Drawing School Foundation 2019-20’. The group are each providing their best works from the foundation, alongside more recent work and sketchbooks for visitors to view in the pop up gallery.

The artists are now studying varying subjects such as set design, architecture, costume and fine-art. The result should be a dynamic and varied exhibition, with commonality in the Drawing School’s influence.

The exhibition will be showing from 22nd-25th July, and on the morning of the 26th at 32-34 New Cavendish Street, W1G 8UA.
