City Music Foundation summer residency at the Wallace Collection

A five-day residency of lunchtime recitals from the City Music Foundation at The Wallace Collection, Marylebone

The City Music Foundation (CMF) supported exceptional young musicians by equipping them with the tools to turn their talents into professional success. For the fourth year in a row, the Foundation returned to The Wallace Collection for a five-day residency of lunchtime recitals, including a children's concert and a performance for dementia sufferers. The week culminated in an evening of chamber music and song centred on Schubert's Trout Quintet, with performances from three CMF artists: Helen Charlston, mezzo-soprano; the Eblana String Trio; and Toby Hughes, double bass; in collaboration with guest performer and celebrated pianist Sholto Kynoch.
