More recently, Fabriano Boutique has created a range of delightful articles based on paper for the non-professional community as well. Everything available in the boutiques is designed by Fabriano and made in Italy by highly skilled craftsmen using only the best materials. Fabriano paper is FSC certified and chosen from fibres such as cotton, linen and hemp (all plants with a very low environmental impact) that are grown in managed forests. The whitening agents they use are also environmentally-friendly and their paper is pulp-dyed for better resistance to light and regular use. The leather is tanned, cut and sewn in Italy and then made into bags, purses and wallets.
