Tell us about Roger Pope Opticians and what makes it unique?
Roger Pope Opticians’ uniqueness is centred around being discreet yet providing a luxury environment for clients to receive the highest level of clinical eyecare.
What do you love most about being based in Marylebone Village?
Marylebone Village is one of the most elegant fashion hubs in London, where we can also enjoy the best restaurants, bars and coffee shops. It also has one of the best, world-renowned medical districts.
Which women have inspired you most throughout your life?
It’s never been about one woman who inspires me, but all the women who have fought for our freedom of choice. My mother is one of them - she taught me to work hard and live passionately without fear of others’ opinions. I’m also inspired by women like Malala Yousafzai for her activism in girls’ education, and Barbe-Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin, who led Veuve Clicquot after her husband’s passing in 1805, when women weren’t even allowed a bank account in their own name.
What has been your proudest achievement in your career?
One of my proudest achievements includes being granted the Royal Warrant of Appointment to His Majesty the King and the Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
To me International Women’s Day is about fiercely believing that women can achieve anything they wish. It's about celebrating women and their right to freedom and success.
