Welcome in the festive season with an evening of sparkle and joy, as Marylebone Village transforms into a wintry wonderland in time for Christmas.

It’s that time of year again! Join your friends and neighbours to bring warmth, light and a little magic to the winter days ahead, with the return of A Very Merry Marylebone Christmas on Wednesday 11 November, 3 - 8pm.

This year's event will support the Evelina London Children's Hospital, part of Guys & St Thomas's, raising vital funds in to support the development of a new children’s cancer hospital, helping to improve specialist care and outcomes for young patients and their families.
Festive Lights Switch-On
At the heart of the celebrations is the Festive Lights Switch-On, making the most of the darker days of winter to bring Christmas cheer to Marylebone Village in wondrous colour and light.

Gather in Devonshire Street for the official switch-on at 6pm, led by a special celebrity guest. Watch this space to find out who'll be doing the honours closer to the time!

Created from 100% recycled plastic bottles and using 95% less energy than conventional lighting, the Marylebone Village Christmas lights reflect a commitment to sustainability, while continuing the long tradition of seasonal charm and sparkle.
A Winter Wonderland
Throughout the afternoon and into the evening, you’re invited to Devonshire Street for a spectacular programme of live performances, hosted by local resident and BBC broadcaster Jo Good.

Wander through the Village and browse curated stalls, picking up festive food and drink along the way. Don’t miss the Ferris wheel for a bird’s-eye view of the capital all lit up for Christmas.

Meanwhile, younger visitors get a chance to meet the big man himself (and secure a spot on the Nice List!) at Santa’s Very Marylebone Grotto.
Seasonal Activities
The festive fun doesn't end there!

Throughout November and December, look out for seasonal workshops, family activities and special events throughout the neighbourhood, as Christmas comes to the Village in true Marylebone style.
