This year's Merry Marylebone charity tombola

Marylebone Village raised funds in aid of The Marylebone Project at the annual Merry Marylebone Christmas Lights Switch On event, which took place on Wednesday 12th November from 3pm - 8pm.

The Marylebone Project provided life-changing help for homeless women and was the largest and longest-running center of its kind in the UK. Within the project’s safe environment, women rebuilt trust, learned to re-engage with society, and began to rebuild their lives with the support of its all-encompassing service provision. Visitors were encouraged to donate generously throughout the evening, with all proceeds going towards the charity’s vital work.

Throughout the event there was a range of festive activities including wreath-making and candle-painting workshops, Santa’s Grotto, and the ferris wheel, with 100% of all proceeds donated to The Marylebone Project.

Visitors could visit The Marylebone Project’s stall located on Marylebone High Street and get involved in Christmas card-making and children’s face-painting throughout the event.

Charity tombola

Guests visited the Information Tent on Marylebone High Street and entered the charity tombola for the chance to win a range of incredible prizes from a host of Marylebone Village brands, including a £250 voucher towards dinner at Lita, a cut and blow-dry at Larry King, and a gold advent calendar from MISSOMA, to name a few.

We really enjoyed celebrating with you in Marylebone Village on Wednesday 12th November!
